I am glad

I finally got a chance to stay on the computer after a busy day with house chores. I remember when my son woke up this morning after 8:00 am he asked me right away. “do I have to go to school mama? Is daddy going to take me there? I said no my love today is Saturday. He said when I am going to school again? I said next Tuesday. I am glad he like going to school everyday I hope he always like this until he gets bigger. Next week is his second week in the school as Pre-k.

Now I am glad I let him go he feels good but is still coughing sometimes but he doesn’t have a fever anymore and he is eating a little bit. Worried about gifts

I have a friend at work that is going on vacation to the Philippines for two weeks together with his wife who is a nurse here. After 13 years of living here in the US he finally decide to go back to the PI. He is very excited to go back there and see his brothers and sisters and relatives but at the same time worried. Worried about the gifts to his family of what to gives to them he said they might not like what he has to give to them. We always told him not to worry about that because what ever you can give them they will be happy with it. He is like that because he doesn’t have a lot of money for all the presents and some cash for his siblings. That is why he doesn’t like to go home because he is thinking that they might want more. Still we kept telling him don’t worry just go see your family that is more important than anything else. If you give them a bar of soap they will be very happy and if you can give a dozen bars of soap they still very happy it is the same. I hope he and his wife have a safe travel and enjoy their vacation there with out worrying about anything.

Lightning and Thunderstorm

Last night it was raining here in Dallas with lightning and thunderstorm I was scared with the lightning because I could see it from our window. My husband was ready with our flashlights before we went to bed just in case the light might go out and he is right. I woke up in the middle of the night to make milk for my daughter and I found our bedroom very dark no lights. I had the flashlight with me it is good that we had it because if not I don’t know what to do. This is the second time this happened to us here black out if there is lightning I don’t like it but I cant do anything about it. Also my son scares the lightning it is hard for him to sleep.

Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

Is he Crying

Do you think he is crying? It looks like he is crying he really does. But it is only fake look at his eyes looks like he is smiling. I think that’s why he is like this maybe because he was asking something for me or I really don’t know I forgot already because this picture is taken from last year.

what is success

To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and affection of children.
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends.

To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others.
To live the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition.

To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived,
This is to have succeeded.
